Firstly, the location was perfect for us. With an almost 3 year old it was about an hour walk into the town centre either along the beach or along the top overlooking the beach (without a small child you’d easily do it in half an hour!). The view from the balcony was stunning and I’m gutted I won’t wake up to that tomorrow morning :(. Our son loved looking out at the surfers and trying to count them all! The apartment was clean and very cosy! We couldn’t work out the heating but luckily it was always nice and warm inside so that didn’t matter. There was plenty to do locally and if you wanted to venture out we didn’t drive more than an hour away to do different things. We would definitely recommend/come back again and our son was gutted to be leaving!

My family, 4 Adults + dog, had a very enjoyable break of just over a week this July 2023. The apartment worked well for us – and that sea view from the balcony really does make a difference. Pentire is a great location for Fistral beach with its modern beachside restaurants and bars and Newquay town centre is walking distance. We would like to thank the team at ‘Newquay Holiday Lettings’ who immediately dealt with a couple of minor items at the apartment – it makes it much more straightforward to have access to a locally managed and operated agency. I’m sure we’ll be back.

Great week, weather was superb! Had some really good surf sessions. Enjoyed some fabulous dinners at The Fish House and The Cove. As ever a really good time in Cornwall. Fab apartment, really well presented in a superb location. Definitely the best side of Newquay.

Just returned from an amazing stay at 17 Ocean One. Apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. The location is perfect for early morning beach either on Fistral or Crantock, or Pentire walks, easy access to the beach and a 10 minute walk into Newquay town.
Will definitely book again and highly recommend to family and friends
