Amazing location in the centre of Newquay. Perfect walking distance to everywhere. The views were amazing and were made the most of by the lovely large windows though out the property. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need.

The location is amazing! So close to everything with stunning views from the back garden! Really lovely place with all new carpets. Rooms all a decent size too. Kitchen well stocked and we were able to cook all we wanted to. All In all I’d recommend this place and would stay again!

The listing shows the property has superb views. That was a massive attraction and it does indeed have superb views. Was lovely to wake up to see the sea and to go to sleep listening to the lovely sound of the sea. It is also so handy to be so close to steps to the beach for a quick swim. Property is comfortable and spacious. Lovely linen and huge towels. The hot water for showers etc was just so good. We had all we needed and good places to eat in very close distance. Sainsbury’s within 2 minute walk up the steps opposite. Comms were good and friendly. Key safe check in easy. We had a great time and will miss the lovely ever changing view and sea conditions.

Property in perfect location. Immaculate cleanliness. Only had a slight issue on check in that the instructions directed us to the wrong key safe. But was solved immediately over the phone with no issues at all after this. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

You cannot find a better view! Our family of 7 stayed for a few days over Christmas and we were blown away by the amazing accommodation with full amenities (Full on Christmas lunch was easily accomplished with the full sized kitchen and equipment). Newquay is a lovely small town and this house is perfect if you’re looking for a relaxing break. Check in is easy and the hosts were quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommended. Thank you for the fantastic stay! Our family had a wonderful Christmas and the space was beyond what we expected!

This house is brilliant, it’s close to everything, town and beach alike. The views are truly breath taking and I could have sat there for hours watching the changing tides. Parking for 2 cars no trouble and to be honest once parked in the summer if you are doing the whole beach thing then you wouldn’t need to drive again till you go home. We walked to Newquay Zoo and it only took us 25 mins to get there coming home a bit longer because we browsed the shops on the way home! Plenty of restaurants in walking distance, loads of bakeries offering the traditional Cornish fare and plenty of surf shops etc. This house is ideal for the family or group that wants to spend the days surfing and enjoying the beach then coming home to chill. We had a great stay and yes we would return.

Chy Lowen was perfect for our group of 7, with an infant and 2 dogs. Beaches, shops, pubs and restaurants all in easy walking distance, with harbourside and surfing on our doorstep. We had some wild and windy weather but the house was more spacious than expected, comfortable with fantastic views of surfing on Towan beach. We’d love to visit again.

The property was great for our needs there were 4 adults and 3 children (12 years, 3 years and 18 months) travelling. It’s located in a most fabulous position so close to amenities and the beach. The property is over 3 levels so we all felt that we had our own space if needed. The outside space overlooks the beach and there was enough space for both our cars. There was a little bit of noise Friday and Saturday night but only to be expected from such a central location plus after a fun day on the beach this didn’t keep any of us awake. I would definitely recommend this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! the reviews were quite accurate about the ambient noise from the pub next door, but we didn’t find it too disrupting at all. Even the children slept well!! Very nicely appointed spacious home with fabulous views across to Watergate Bay. Loved our stay here! Fantastic location right in the centre of Newquay, just a stone’s throw from the harbour and beach (we trotted down with our boards in bare feet/ wetsuits – no need for bags of kit / towels etc). Plenty of nearby cafes and bars offering all meals at almost all times of the day. The local Sainsbury’s is about 150 yards away. As can be expected in Newquay during peak season there’s a lively nightlife scene which focuses on the main road about 20 yards away, yet we were never disturbed by the revellers. Small amount of noise from the pub next door (really not an issue for us) and the area out the front did not give a good first impression, but this is easily compensated for by the view to the back. Would certainly stay again and would recommend for larger families/ groups (easily accommodates 8 with room to spare).

Chy Lowen is perfectly situated. It has amazing views of the sea, is 30 seconds from the harbour, the high street and Sainsbury’s. There is parking for 2 cars and once you are there you can walk everywhere. It is situated right next to a pub but we didn’t have any issues with noise. It has everything you need.Will definitely be going back.

The house boasts amazing views over Towan beach and is a comfortable place to stay for a week by the seaside. The fact that you can be at the beach in 2mins, or nip to Sainsbury’s just accross the road makes it an easy place to stay with a family. The house was clean and well equipped and it was great being able to park right I the centre of Newquay.

We stayed at Chy Lowen, Newquay, in July 2015. The views from the main bedroom, lounge, kitchen and patio were amazing and I really did not want to leave them! The house was very comfortable, clean and well kitted out. Despite being told there was only room to park one car, we found there was room for 2 small cars. It is in a convenient location for the town centre, beach and harbour.
