Crantock Beach
Crantock offers a large expanse of golden sands backed by dunes between the Pentire Headlands to both east and west. Popular for swimming, snorkelling, surfing and wind-surfing with board/canoe hire on the beach via Big Green surf school.
Facilities The village has a traditional thatched village pub dating back to 1600 The old albion is open from 1200. Perfectly perched on the West Pentire Headland, overlooking the golden sands of Crantock Beach, near the popular surfing and family destination of Newquay is the Bowgie Inn or maybe you would prefer the contemporary menu at the C Bay bistro.
Lifeguard cover from May until September.
Parking Crantock beach is owned and looked after by the National Trust. The car park is free to National Trust members.
Toilets are located on the beach car park.
Dog friendly all year round.
